Running The Tower overnight on PC is a setup problem. The goal is simple: keep the emulator awake, restart when a run ends, recover supported crashes, and tap the prompts you care about.
TowerLoop handles the repeatable emulator work: local input, restart flows, watchdog recovery, and prompt taps on your own Windows setup.
The Overnight Checklist
Before trusting a full night, cover the basics:
| Layer | What to configure |
|---|---|
| Windows | Disable sleep during farming hours and control update reboots |
| Emulator | Use a stable build, enough RAM, and a consistent resolution |
| Game session | Start from a screen your profile supports |
| TowerLoop | Enable restart, watchdog, and prompt profiles you need |
| Test run | Watch a shorter session before going fully unattended |
Most failed nights come from skipping one of these.
Use A PC Emulator
The game is mobile-first, so PC play usually means an Android emulator. BlueStacks and LDPlayer both publish pages for playing the game on PC, and TowerLoop is built around that emulator workflow.
Keep the window size and target resolution stable. If you change resolution, move cards, or switch emulator instances, retest the TowerLoop profile before leaving it overnight.
Keep Windows Awake
Windows sleep stops the whole setup. Set the PC to stay awake on AC power, decide whether the display can turn off without suspending the emulator, and schedule updates away from your farming window.
If the PC reboots, nothing from the old session is still running unless you configure startup behavior. Treat Windows power management as part of the farming setup, not a side detail.
Restarts: In-Game vs TowerLoop
The in-game Auto Restart Run handles normal post-defeat restarts once you unlock it in the Vault.
TowerLoop adds a Windows-layer option:
| Scenario | In-game Auto Restart Run | TowerLoop |
|---|---|---|
| Normal defeat restart | Yes, once unlocked | Yes, through configured local input |
| App closes | No | Watchdog recovery |
| Emulator freezes | No | Watchdog recovery |
| Prompt tapping | No | Supported prompt profiles |
| Requires Vault unlock | Yes | No |
Use the Auto Restart savings calculator to estimate how much idle time restarts can reclaim.
Reduce Missed Prompts
Some useful prompts require a tap while the run is live. If you walk away, those prompts can sit unclaimed.
TowerLoop’s gem clicker taps supported gem prompts already visible on your screen. The feature does not create gems or alter rewards; it simply handles the tap you would have made if you were watching.
Add Watchdog Recovery
For overnight sessions, restarts are only half the story. Add crash watchdog and app watchdog recovery so TowerLoop can relaunch supported app or emulator failures and resume the configured routine.
